The 10th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act was celebrated with a parade and activities on Saturday, July 22, in College Green Park in Iowa City. The parade began at the Civic Center and proceeded to the celebration at College Green Park from 11 AM to 4 PM. Bob Kafka, a national organizer for ADAPT (Americans Disabled for Attendant Programs Today) and Co-Director of the Institute for Disability Access, was the keynote speaker.
