The University of Iowa Center for Disabilities and Development, Iowa's University Center for Excellence on Disabilities, serves as administrative home to the Iowa Training Consortium. In addition to hosting a variety of ongoing community training events, CDD administers or works closely with a number of collaborating projects and organizations.

The Iowa Department of Human Services Division of Mental Health and Disability Services funds the Iowa Training Consortium. The Division works to ensure that quality disability services are available to all Iowans who need them, regardless of their age, their financial resources or where they choose to live in our state.

The Disability Resource Library is a lending library with a multimedia collection of disability-related materials. The library offers free research assistance from experienced professionals. The Disability Resource Library is located at:

Iowa COMPASS is Iowa's leading source of information on assistive technology and disability services. Information is available from an online database or by speaking with a COMPASS resource specialist at: 1-800-779-2001 (toll-free, voice) or 1-877-686-0032 (TTY) during normal business hours. The website contains a link to Iowa's Used Equipment Referral Service (UERS) as well as links to current and past newsletters.

Iowa Child Health Specialty Clinics (CHSC) provide local, regional and statewide services and information to improve the health, development, and well-being of children and youth with special health care needs in partnership with families, service providers, communities and policymakers. The CHSC website provides an overview of special projects, including Family to Family Iowa, Community Circle of Care, Early Hearing Detection and Intervention and the Regional Autism Services Program.

Family to Family Iowa (F2F) is a partnership between the Iowa Department of Human Services and Iowa Child Health Specialty Clinics. F2F Iowa is a statewide network of Family Navigators who provide assistance to families of children with special needs (developmental, behavioral, emotional and physical) at no cost to families.

Community Circle of Care (CCC) is a collaboration of the Iowa Department of Human Services, Iowa Child Health Specialty Clinics, University of Iowa Center for Disabilities and Development and other community partners. CCC offers care coordination, diagnosis, and assessment services to children and youth with emotional challenges in northeast Iowa. CCC works in collaboration with local service providers. The CCC website maintains a link to its current newsletter and a list of resource guides, conferences and other training opportunities.

Iowa's Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) Care for Kids website offers resources and guidance for providers concerned with early identification and treatment of Medicaid-eligible children. The site provides a link to its current newsletter.
