Summer 2020 Issue of “Possibilities in Education and Training” Published

Featured Article Focuses on Staying Strong During COVID-19

The new issue of the “Possibilities in Education and Training” newsletter has been published. The lead article features Eric Mullins, who made the transition from congregate to community living through the MFP program, shortly before COVID-19 hit.

Moving is always a challenge, and Mullins' move from Woodward to Waterloo a few months before the health crisis has brought added challenges, including looking for new work in a new community during a difficult time. But with support from MFP Employment Services Manager SueAnn Morrow and Transition Specialist Jo Schumacher, he has developed a video resume, and has been working on job applications. And enjoying the fun, and responsibilities, of living independently.

Mullins says staying positive has helped him stay strong through it all. Read his story in the Summer 2020 issue.
